East 15 Acting School

Actoring is a Society at East 15 Acting School. We take great pride in our school. Our Loughton campus occupies an 18th-century house, Hatfields, and our theatre, The Corbett is an adaptation of a beautiful 15th-century barn.

Only at East 15 could such a society grow from its very own student body. The school is bold and dynamic, it challenges and it trains actors, directors and performers for stage and film.

East 15 Acting School was founded in 1961 by Margaret Walker. It grew from the work of Joan Littlewood’s famed Theatre Workshop whose postcode was, you guessed it, E15.
